Our academic staff establishes a relationship between students that is based on “Student Oriented University” principle, which defines our university’s institutional culture. This system functions through compulsory office hours of the academic staff and extra duties of the administrative staff. To create a warm atmosphere that is based on love, respect and production is one of the basic features of Halic University. It is also an important factor that enhances our students’ success.

THE NUMBER OF STUDENT PER ACADEMIC STAFF: 8.4

Halic University has 2349 students and 279 academic members as of 2005-2006 academic year. The number of student per academic staff is 8.4. This feature allows a closer relationship between students and academic staff and influences the performance of the students in a positive way.
LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY

The locations of three campuses of Halic University, namely Findikzade, Sishane and Mecidiyekoy, are in a walking distance to main public transportation centers of the city, which is a big advantage for the students. Halic University, which can also be described as a “City University”, is reachable through different means of transportation in an economical way. The campuses’ being in the heart of historical and financial districts allows students to benefit from many activities of Istanbul’s cultural, artistic and sports events.
